Just wanted to mention this on this sub too in the hopes of collecting more information on this, if it's happening to others as well. NintendoSwitch subreddit thread on the subject: However, the fact that it seems to be happening commonly with Dragon's Dogma gives me a little reassurance, it's probably not hardware failure and just a particularly bad way that DD crashes.I hope.
My Switch has crashed before but not with a code like this, I've gotten the more common "the software was closed because an error occurred" which lets you press the home button and reopen the game, but this error makes you press the power button. Beyond the ongoing network issues there seem to be other spotty problems with this game on Switch which are a little worrying.Įrror 2153-1540 is a fairly serious Switch error code, from some googling it often relates to major hardware failure like the system overheating or bad RAM.
